About the plant:
Begonia Masoniana Rock, also known as Iron Cross Begonia, is a fascinating begonia that boasts large, rough leaves with a distinctive dark brown to black cross pattern. This plant comes from humid tropical areas, where it grows in semi-shade to shade, which suits it even in room conditions. Begonia Masoniana Rock blooms with small white flowers, but they are not its main decoration.

Light

Light diffused light to partial shade suits the plant. The mild morning direct sun will not harm it either.

Watering

We keep the substrate slightly moist, but watch out for overwatering, as the stems could rot.

Humidity

It benefits from moist air, but does not like dew. Rather, place it near the air humidifier.

Propagation

We can reproduce by top cuttings or division of rhizomes (tubers, rhizomes).

Common problems

Overwatering is manifested by softening and rotting of the roots and leaf fall. Browning and drying of leaves is a clear signal of low air humidity. Brown spots on the leaves appear after burning from direct sunlight or after dew, because the plant cannot tolerate drops of water on the leaves.

How does DMP delivery work?

All plants and some accessories on our e-shop are sent directly from the grower in Holland. We want them to be at your place as soon as possible and not spend time going around different warehouses and stores. We ship part of our own products marked with the Made in DMP label directly from our warehouse in Prague.
Therefore, it may happen that you will be charged a higher price for shipping, because you have things in the basket both from the grower and from our own production.
If you have products worth CZK 2,000 (For SK 82 EUR) or more in your basket, you will always have FREE shipping!

For some products, such as a book or a physical gift voucher, you can choose the pick-up option in our brick-and-mortar store.

Personal collection is not possible for most goods, because the store does not offer the same range of plants and accessories as in the e-shop. If you are not sure about the choice, stop by in person and together we will choose or order the right one!

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The DPD courier will contact you the day before delivery regarding the exact delivery date. If you want to deliver the shipment to the delivery point , you can make arrangements with the carrier. The price for delivery of plants and selected accessories from NL to the Czech Republic is CZK 149 and to Slovakia EUR 8.
The price for delivery of our products from the warehouse in Prague is CZK 99 within the Czech Republic . Delivery from our warehouse to Slovakia is for the same price - EUR 8.

2. Post office

You can have the selected goods delivered to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in the Czech Republic for 89,- or to the delivery point of Zásilkovna in SK for € 5 . Simply select the delivery method: Zásilkovna * You select the Zásilkovna branch after completing the order.

After creating an order, you can use the map to select a pick-up point.
The shipping company is limited by the size or weight of the package.
If you cannot choose Zásilkovna, you most likely have bulky products in your basket and you need to choose another carrier.

3. Personal collection
