Parasitic nematodes Steinernema feltiae to protect plants from mealybug larvae.

Steinernema feltiae is a parasitoid that parasitizes the larvae of host species of mealybugs. Infected mealybug larvae turn yellow-brown and die within 2-3 days after parasitism, and the next generation of nematodes develops in their carcasses. This reduces the infestation of plants by mealybugs.

Soil temperature at application min 10 °C (ideal temperature 10 to 25 °C) for at least several hours a day. At higher temperatures, the effectiveness of nematodes decreases.

Apply early in the morning or late in the evening to limit the effects of heat and direct sunlight.

The soil must be moist but not wet when applied – nematodes cannot swim and therefore cannot move in waterlogged soil.

One treatment with Nemaplus protects the treated area for approximately 6 weeks. In case of heavy infestation with mealybugs, repeat the treatment after 2 weeks. The death of the first larvae is visible within 3 days after application.

Spray

Remove all filters in the application equipment (in the tubes and in the nozzle). Use a sprayer with a min. nozzle opening of 0.5 - 1 mm. Do not exceed the pump pressure of 5 bar. Add the required amount of bioagent to the water in the sprayer while stirring continuously. Mix the spray liquid thoroughly, i.e. for min. 3 minutes, and start the application immediately. Spray with constant stirring to prevent nematodes from settling until all the application liquid is used up.

Dressing

Dissolve the contents of the package in a small amount of water (depending on the size of the package) and then mix with the required amount of water in the jug, in the ratio see the indication table above. See graphic illustration
For pots (flower pots and other growing containers) Dissolve the contents of the package in a small amount of water (depending on the size of the package) and then mix with the required amount of water in the watering can, in the ratio see the indication table above. Adjust the amount of liquid applied according to the size of the growing container - see the table below.

Storage

Safety instructions for Parasitic nematodes against gnats:

Use:
- This product is intended for the biological control of Sciaridae on houseplants and in substrates. Read the instructions carefully before use and follow the recommendations on the label.
- Apply parasitic nematodes to the substrate, ideally in the evening when the temperature is lower and the plants are dormant.
- Make sure the product is evenly distributed in the substrate so that the nematodes have enough space to work effectively.
Maintenance:
- After application, make sure the substrate remains moist so that the nematodes have ideal conditions for development.
- Keep the nematodes in a cool place until ready to use to maintain their viability.
- If using multiple packages, make sure to apply the nematodes at the recommended rate.
Safety notice:
- This product is biological and safe for plants and animals, but it is still recommended that you use protective gloves when handling the package.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not apply parasitic nematodes to a substrate that is too dry. A dried-out substrate may reduce their effectiveness.
Ecological disposal:
- This product is ecological and harmless to the environment. It does not pose a risk to aquatic ecosystems or soil when used according to instructions.
- For proper disposal, follow the instructions on the label or contact your local recycling center.

Short-term storage is possible in closed original packaging in a dry, cool place at a temperature of approximately 4 - 12 °C. The bioagent must never be exposed to temperatures below freezing or above 30 °C. Storage is possible for a maximum of 6 weeks from the date of production. It is not recommended to store together with chemical plant protection products and volatile substances. Store out of the reach of children and separately from food, drinks and feed. The product must be used before the expiration date.

Delivery to the address by courier

We ship live plant orders Monday through Thursday. If we are unable to prepare your order during these days, we will ship it again the following week. We want to avoid plants sitting in the warehouse for too long, which is especially important during the winter months when cold conditions can be detrimental to them.

Individual shipping prices:

1. DPD

The day before delivery, a DPD courier will contact you with the exact delivery date. If you would like to redirect the shipment to a pick-up point, you can arrange this directly with the carrier. However, we strongly recommend not redirecting to pick-up boxes during the winter months, as low temperatures can damage the plants. In such a case, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of the plants and no claims will be accepted.

The price of delivery of plants and accessories throughout the Czech Republic is 149 CZK, and to Slovakia it is 8 €.

2. Mail order company

You can have the selected goods delivered to a Zásilkovna pick-up point in the Czech Republic for 89 CZK or in Slovakia for 5 €. Simply select the "Zásilkovna" delivery option when ordering. After completing your order, you will be able to select a specific pick-up point using the map.

Please note that Zásilkovna has restrictions on the dimensions and weight of the package. If you do not see the Zásilkovna option, you probably have larger products in your cart and you need to choose another carrier. In the winter months, we strongly recommend not choosing delivery to Z-Boxes due to the risk of plants dying in frost. In such a case, we are not responsible for the condition of the plants and the claim will not be accepted.

3. Personal pickup

You can pick up your order in person for free at Křižíkova 55/65, Prague 8. Once your order is ready, we will send you an email with information about the possibility of picking it up. If you do not pick up your order within 3 business days , or do not inform us of a different pick-up date, it will be automatically canceled .

4. Express delivery by courier in Prague

Do you need your order as soon as possible? We also offer the goods on Wolt . These orders are delivered by Wolt within an hour.

5. Z-boxes, Alzaboxes, PPL boxes and others.

In the case of payment by cash on delivery, orders for collection boxes are automatically redirected to the nearest collection point.
